OUR STORY
The stories made me stay.
A note from behind the curtain, and the reason this little theater exists.
Magic brought me here.
Selling magic tricks was one of my first jobs. Twenty years as a member of the Magic Castle in Hollywood, and years spent studying cards, coins, gimmicked decks, and the thinking behind the craft, have only deepened my curiosity.
Books such as Juan Tamariz’s The Magic Way, the work of Ascanio, and Paul Harris’s The Art of Astonishment are part of that journey. To me, magic is mostly storytelling.
A home for the wonderfully curious.
This site is for magicians first, and for anyone who loves magic. You might be holding a deck for the first time, returning to an old hobby, or looking for a new perspective on performance. There is a place for you here.
Learn a small effect. Watch someone whose voice is different from yours. Find a book that makes you think. Then pass a little wonder along.
A word about the rabbit.
Our rabbit and illustrations were drawn for this site. A little curiosity, a little mischief, and room for a story: that is the spirit we hope they bring.
